No heavy snowfall in J&K & Ladakh this December, only light snow and cold cloudy days ahead.

Srinagar, Dec 01 (JKBT): The JK Border Times correspondent on Monday spoke to Sonam Lotus from the Meteorological Department regarding the latest weather conditions and temperature trends across Srinagar, Jammu, and Ladakh.
According to the News Agency JK Border Times, Lotus Said , there is no forecast of heavy snowfall across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh during the month of December. Most parts of the Kashmir Valley and Ladakh will continue to witness cloudy weather, while light snowfall may occur in some higher reaches.
Officials further clarified that no heavy rain or snowfall is expected at present or in the coming days. Although daytime conditions will remain cold and cloudy, night temperatures could rise slightly due to cloud cover.
The brief forecast is as follows:
2 December: Slightly cloudy weather
3 December: Clear weather
4 & 5 December: Cloudy, with possible light snowfall in some hilly areas
Afterwards: Partly cloudy conditions, with no fully clear weather expected
Till 10–15 December: No chances of heavy snowfall; only occasional light snowfall in upper reaches
Overall, the Meteorological Department maintains that the entire month of December is unlikely to witness any heavy snowfall in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. (JKBT)
